Who We Work With

CRDF works with various organizations in order to help communities work towards safe and secure environments. These associates have contributed both resources and time to the success of CRDF

The International Maritime Rescue Federation (IMRF): CRDF is an affiliate of the IMRF who give sponsorship, operational support, information and advice. IMRF is currently supporting a schoolchildren swimming programme under the CRDF Maritime C0mmunity Project. Scores of students from Mtwapa Primary School in the outskirts of Mombasa City will be trained on how to swim safely.

African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF) – Flying Doctors: CRDF is a member of AMREF – Flying Doctors. CRDF can call on Flying Doctors for emergency medical evacuation support as well as to provide air ambulance services.

Law enforcement agencies: The Kenya Police and Provincial Administration form one of the three pillars of our Community Policing Projects. The other two pillars are CRDF and the local community. We collaborate with these law enforcement agencies to combat crime, to quickly respond to emergencies and crises.

Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA): The KMA are the government arm in charge of all maritime issues in Kenya. We work closely with the KMA in our Maritime Community Project and we benefit from their advice and guidance.

Royal National Lifeboats Institution (RNLI): CRDF benefits from the RNLI Lifeguard Training Programme that has trained the volunteer lifeguards who are now operating at the Jomo Kenyatta Public Beach in Mombasa, Kenya.
